The Brief

The RSPCA required a dynamic online payment processing and verification system that would enhance the supporter experience through personalisation. They also required this system to allow frequent changes to the creative aspect of the campaign.

Our Solution

Our IT experts designed FLEX as a re-useable platform that allows content to be presented dynamically, and to be entirely bespoke by campaign. Supporter details, tailored messaging and donation value prompts were used from a pre-loaded data file.

The unique FLEX engine allowed the creative aspect to vary, as well as allowing personalisation on the page and variation in ‘page logic’ which determined whether an item appeared or not. Having passed through an initial capture and verification page users were redirected back to a flexible client page where we hosted a payment processing iframe for them to use. Any information captured via the FLEX landing pages was imported to the client page when the iframe was loaded, enabling personal information and donation details to be pre-populated. This improved accuracy and enhanced the supporter experience, making the donation process easier.

As well as campaign and donation specific thank you emails, personalised abandon emails could be sent to supporters who didn’t complete the process, which encouraged them to return to the site.
